The History of Tony's Steakhouse in Nebraska
As
a young boy, I lived in Texas, Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming. When I was
a senior in high school, I enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve.
I took my basic training in California, radioman school in Maryland,
and a two year stint of active duty in Australia. I went back to
Wyoming and married my "high school sweetheart", Sue. Our first son,
Ryan, was born there.
I was working for the Wyoming Department of Revenue. Life was good. But something was still missing. I longed for my own business. We moved to Nebraska in 1976 and began our lives as restaurant entrepreneurs. From the very beginning, we focused on serving quality dinners with outstanding service. We were young and eager for life; we were working toward a common goal - a dream.
Raising a family, which by the way, to date includes three more sons, Grant, Travis, and Jacob, three daughter-in-laws Tammy, Natalie and Jessica and eight beautiful grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Carter, Kaleb, Jackson, Madison, Hayden, Blake and Payton. We're older now, of course, but our zest for life and our dream have not diminished and our focus remains the same - serving quality dinners with outstanding service.
I've lived many places and traveled across an ocean. There is no better place in the world than Nebraska to raise a family and build your dreams. Nebraska is our home. You, our customer, are like extended family. Again, I'd like to welcome you to our home - Tony's Steakhouse.
